Last year's surprise winner, Englishman Danny Willett

*Odds provided by Sky Bet.

Dustin Johnson - 11/2: The overwhelming favourite this week is DJ and rightly so. Someone's got to play really well if they are to beat the world number one. Victories in his last 3 starts. A T6 here in 2015 and a T4 last year. He's going to be very hard to beat.

Jordan Spieth - 7/1: He's led the Masters for eight of the last ten rounds played at Augusta. In his only three starts here, he has finished T2, 1, T2. Worryingly he missed the cut in Houston last week, but signs before that showed he was getting back to his best form which saw him dominate in 2015. He may have slipped to 6 in the world, but do not be surprised if he atones for his errors last year and regains the green jacket.

Tyrell Hatton - 50/1: The Englishman has been superb in recent times and he could be someone who has a very solid week. He's finished no worse than a T17 in seven starts this year. Although he has only won once in his career, Hatton's consistent form has seen him rise to 15th in the world. He may be a rookie at Augusta, but he's playing too well too not be considered a factor.

Lee Westwood - 66/1: Westwood will turn 44 later this month so chances to win his first major title are fading fast. However, this may be invigorate the Worksop born man, who could thrive off the 'do-or-die' pressure. Westwood has six finishes in the top 11 in his last 7 starts here. He had been in steady form prior to his dismal showing at the Houston Open, but it's his form here that shows he could be a potential winner.

Bill Haas - 80/1: Haas has never set the field alight at the Masters, but for some reason I fancy him to play well this week. An extremely solid player who consistently finishes in the top 25, Haas has made his last seven cuts at Augusta, His best finish came in 2015 when he finished T12. His strong showing at the Dell World Matchplay where he finished third highlights him as a danger this week.

Alex Noren - 90/1: Amazingly, the world number 10 will be playing in his first tournament at Augusta. Even more amazingly, is how someone who won four times last year, be in good form and ranked number 10 in the world can be rated at 90/1? He's fast emerging into one of the leading players and that price is an absolute steal for someone who has been electric in the last year or so.
